Field Trip and Group Visit Information
Field Trips
All field trips to the Lincoln Children’s Museum provide guests with a two-hour self-guided tour, providing opportunities for hands-on learning, curriculum enhancement and fun for all!
Field Trip Requirements
- Admission: $3.00 per person
- Group Size: 10 – 200 (including chaperones)
- Chaperones: 1 Adult per every 5 Children
- Duration: 2 hours
- Reservations: Must be made at least 2 days in advance
- Note: Failure to provide 2 day notice will add $1.50 ($4.50) per person to the Field Trip Rate.
All schools, homeschooling and licensed day care groups may take advantage of the Field Trip program at the Lincoln Children’s Museum.
A limited number of field trip reservations are available each day. We recommend planning at least 30 days in advance to help us accommodate your preferred date and time.
We encourage educators and group leaders to come in prior to your group's visit to explore the Museum. This is a good opportunity to learn about the exhibits, plan your outing and have the chance to prepare curriculum for your visit.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to make your reservation please call to reschedule or cancel within two days of your visit. Groups that fail to cancel or do not show up will be billed a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations due to unexpected school closings may be rescheduled.
Special Offer
Educators receive a 10% discount on regular-priced merchandise in the Museum Store.
Parking Options
Students arriving in buses will be able to unload in front of the Museum. For information on bus parking please inquire at the Welcome Desk. Cars and vans may utilize parking near the Museum in several city parking garages, as well as metered spots on nearby streets. The Museum offers reduced rate parking stickers to all city parking garages.
