Guaranteed to make days out of school fun and full of learning. While all camps include exclusive playtime on Museum exhibits before the Museum is open to the public, the majority of camp time is spent on the Museum's exclusive third floor designed for making messes, friends and memories. Camps are separated into groups by school grades to provide personalized experiences. 

Offered on days that Lincoln Public Elementary School is not in session and holiday weeks during the summer.

*Campers must have completed the grade and be toileting independently. 

Know a friend who you think would love camp? $10 gift card to be used on a camp or event for each friend you refer. If that friend books a camp, they can enter your name under “referred by” on the registration.

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Check-in 8:00 - 8:45 a.m.; Check-out 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.) Campers should bring a sack lunch; no nuts, please! If your child would like an extra snack during the day, please pack one accordingly.

NOW OFFERING HALF DAY MORNING SESSIONS FOR PRE-K! Morning sessions for 4-5 year olds will be from 8:00 am to 11:30 am each day when regular camp is offered. Click on Pre-K to see both options and pricing.

November 22nd - Engineering Extravaganza!

Engineers can transform the world around them by bringing ideas to life! Turn into a real engineer by designing, evaluating, and redesigning machines and structures. Watch as creations get more amazing as we work together to create new ideas. Youth will see how problem solving and critical thinking can lead to some fun adventures!

November 27th - Adventures in Art

Explore different art mediums and learn about art around the world in this immersive art day camp! Travel to Japan where you learn about block painting or visit renaissance Italy to paint like Michelangelo or get messy doing a Jackson Pollock style painting. (This WILL get messy so dress in something you don’t mind getting paint on)

December 21st - Science Quest

Love to learn about how things work or why they exist? Come on a quest to discover the mysteries behind the stars, excavate dinosaur fossils, create a formula for the perfect snack and make some things explode.  )

December 22nd - Adventures in Art II: Paint Brush Attacks!

Explore different painting techniques   (This WILL get messy so dress in something you don’t mind getting paint on)

December 27th - Let it Snow!

Don’t let the winter blues get you down. Come learn about the wonders of snow! We will make out own snowflakes, grow our own crystals and perform an ice excavation.

December 28th - Reindeer Games Escape Room

Rudolph loves to play games, especially if puzzles are involved. Now that Christmas is over, Rudolph is away at Reindeer Games Training Camp, learning how to lead Santa’s sleigh, fly over rooftops and deliver toys. He was home on a short break over the Holidays and left a game for us and it includes a lot of puzzles! Use your problem solving, logic and teamwork skills to help solve Rudolph’s puzzles and create some of your own.

December 29th - Celebrate!

2017 is almost over- but not before we party!  Come have fun with us as we prepare to welcome in 2018 with a bang! Get ready to ring in the New Year by making some fun party favors, make a time capsule to remember how much fun we had in 2017 and we might even learn some dance moves!

January 2nd - Relax & Recharge

Join us for some zen activities as we put the power of our minds to recharge after the start of the New Year. Come try some yoga or some science experiments that are calming.

January 3rd - Arctic Expedition

What animals live here? Do you ever wonder how animals stay warm? Time to adventure to the Arctic.

January 4th - Winter Warm Up

Time to celebrate winter! Join us to learn ways to keep warm this winter. It might get chilly!

January 5th - Tropical Vacation

Tired of all the cold? Then come visit on a tropical vacation. Learn about coconuts, try different foods, and sail across the water. Even stay afterwards for our First Friday Family Fun Night when the Museum is open late and we’ll be doing big sales for our summer camps!

January 15th - Real Life Heros

Heroes are not just people who wear capes; there are heroes are all around us. Learn about people who shape your life and become a hero yourself.

February 19th - Museum Olympics

Instead of traveling to Korea for the Olympics, come celebrate at the Museum. Learn some Korean words, what it takes to be in the Olympics, and partake in some of the events.

March 12th - Super Science Lab

Step into the Lincoln Children’s Museum laboratory as we create substances that bubble, fizz, and pop! It’s your chance to channel your inner scientist.

March 13th - Terrific Technology

We will spend the day learning about technology! Connecting wires, coding, and even more!

March 14th - Engineering Expo

We engineer excitement! Creative challenges will inspire the imagination and invention of our campers. Campers will have the chance to test their skills at making a paper bridge, identifying what shapes are the strongest, and much more.

March 15th - Amazing Art

Art comes to life as campers learn the basics of visual art. The campers will be using their creative minds to make many replicas of artwork, learn drawing techniques and much more.

March 16th - Mastermind

Through a variety of crafts, games and activities, we’ll discover the incredible quirks and processes that go on in our minds every day.

March 30th - Growing Gardeners

Are you ready to test out your green thumb? Come learn the basics of different fruits and vegetables, gardening, and even get to take some plants home.

April 2nd - Superhero Training

Know a superhero? Send them to this camp for mini superheroes. Children will also learn about the character development and social skills of famous superheroes. By the end of camp, campers will become superheroes themselves.

April 27th - Astronaut Training

An environment with almost no gravity creates challenges for everyone! How do astronauts sleep? What do they eat? And how do they go to the bathroom? Learn about the physical and emotional challenges that astronauts encounter.
