Fall 2018 Museum Camps
Guaranteed to make days out of school fun and full of learning, these special camps are offered when LPS is out of session during the school year. While all camps include exclusive playtime on Museum exhibits before the Museum is open to the public, the majority of camp time is spent on the Museum's secret third floor designed for making messes, friends and memories.
Camps are open for all kids age 4 through 4th grade*.
*Campers must be toileting independently.
Camp is offered 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Check-in 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.; Check-out 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.)
Campers should bring a sack lunch and two snacks; no nuts, please!
ALSO OFFERING HALF DAY MORNING SESSIONS FOR PRE-K! Morning sessions for 4-5 year olds will be from 8:00 am to 11:30 am each day when regular camp is offered. Click on Pre-K to see both options and pricing.
Camp Classrooms are located on the 3rd floor of the Museum.

Members: $45 per day per camper

Fall 2018 Camp Schedule
October 15- Monster Mash
Ready to play with some monsters? Work with your friends to escape Igor's dungeon and have some ghoulish fun along the way in this day camp. Includes a trip to the downtown library and a session in our kid escape rooms.
October 16- Arts and Bots
This camp is where art and robotics intersect. Use creativity and technology to make some great works of art. Campers will brain storm ideas and then create their own designs all in a day.
November 21- Food Frenzy
Some of the greatest scientists started in the kitchen making some really messy inventions! We invite campers to bring out their inner scientist by diving into Kitchen Science. Explore kitchen chemistry at its very best where it's ok to make a mess!
November 26- Teamwork Challenge
Come try a vast array of team-oriented activities that promote cooperation, communication, group problem-solving, and conflict resolution all while being super fun! Includes a visit to the downtown library.
